§ 8-353. Towing business a privilege.

The proper and safe functioning of the towing business has critical impact on the health, safety and welfare of the public; involves use of the public streets of the city often in circumstances necessitating prompt removal of dangerous obstructions to traffic on said streets; therefore the privilege of any person to engage in the towing business in the city shall be subject to strict regulation in order to protect the public.
