§ 2-129. Created.

By virtue of the power conferred upon the city by the state Hospital Authority Act, V.T.C.A., Health and Safety Code § 262.001 et seq., a hospital authority comprising the territory included within the boundaries of the city is hereby created as a body politic and corporate, and city hospital authority is hereby designated as the name by which said authority shall be known.
