§ 6-136. Appeals and variances.

Any person aggrieved by any interpretation of the swimming pool regulations, or by any decision or ruling by the city's building official, or inspector, shall have the right to make an appeal or request for variance, to the city board of adjustment created in chapter 46, article II, division 3. Such appeal or request for variance shall be perfected by written notice submitted to the city secretary and addressed to the board of adjustment asking for a hearing, and the action of the board of adjustment thereon shall be final. Prior to rendering a decision on any appeal or variance request, the board of adjustment may seek expert advice and counsel.
