§ 46-800. Created.

There is hereby created an historic review board of the city, hereinafter called the "board," consisting of nine members appointed by the city council. The board shall be comprised of the following:

(1)

At least five citizens of the city;

(2)

At least two members of the Main Street Board so long as such board is a functioning entity;

(3)

At least two owners of property within the designated historic district;

(4)

At least two members of the Elgin Historical Association so long as such association is a functioning entity;

(5)

The building official or his representative shall serve as secretary and ex officio member of the board.
