§ 42-275. Garbage and rubbish collection charges by city from commercial units.

(a)

The charges for the collection of garbage and rubbish from commercial units located in the city using carts, bags, containers, bins, roll-offs compactors shall be levied upon the following basis:

(1)

Commercial hand pickup rates per month. The rates are on file in the city secretary's office.

(2)

Commercial container rates. The rates are on file in the city secretary's office.

(3)

Roll-off container rates. All roll-off units will be ordered through and paid to Allied Waste at the rates on file in the city secretary's office.

(4)

Special services rates. All special services will be ordered through and paid to Allied Waste at rates quoted by Allied Waste.

(b)

Bills for said service are due and payable on or before the fifteenth day of the month in which the same fall due. All accounts shall be considered delinquent if not paid by said date. All delinquent accounts are subject to stoppage of service 25 days after the date of billing.

(c)

The monthly rate charged for a first bill will be pro-rated based on the number of days of service.
