§ 42-187. Sewer taps.

  • (a)

    A charge as set forth in subsection (c) of this section shall be made for any connection with the sewer system of the city. The fees shall be paid in advance upon the making of an application for a sewer tap to the city utility department.

    (b)

    The sewer connection, or sewer tap, shall be installed at the sole expense of the connector. The city may bear the cost of laying any required footage of line necessary to bring the sewer system to the connector's property line; however, the cost of any such footage will be paid for by the connector at a cost equal to the costs to the city. All such connections shall be in accordance with the standards and regulations of the city, and shall be subject to inspection by the city.

    (c)

    Sewer tap charges. The sewer connection fees are hereby established and which are on file in the city secretary's office.
