§ 40-474. Violations and penalty.

  • Any person violating any of the provisions of this article and also any person who knowingly or intentionally shall interfere with, or attempt to prevent, the physical impounding of any junked vehicle by the chief of police or his delegate pursuant to this article, or pursuant to state law, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof, shall be punished in accordance with the provisions of section 1-15, and upon conviction thereof, the court shall order removal and abatement of the nuisance.
