§ 40-390. Cash bond required.

A cash bond shall be required as a prerequisite for obtaining a mover's permit and shall be held by the city to cover or to help cover any damage to city property or to private property owners that results from the transportation of houses over or along streets within the city limits. Said cash bond which is on file in the city secretary's office and shall be paid back to the depositor upon a finding by the director of public works that no damages as aforesaid have occurred and no provision of this article has been violated by the depositor.
