§ 40-340. Parking prohibited in certain designated school zone locations.

When signs are erected giving notice thereof, no person shall at any time park a vehicle upon any of the following described streets or parts of streets:

2nd Street. It shall be unlawful to park any vehicle on the north side of 2nd Street within 200 feet east of the Elgin Elementary School parking lot between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on school days. Additionally, it shall be unlawful to park any vehicle on the south side of 2nd Street between West 10th Street and West 11th Street between the hours of 7:00 a.m to 9:00 a.m. and the hours of 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on school days.

County Line Road. It shall be unlawful to park any vehicle on the east side of County Line Road within 900 feet north of the intersection of Raymond Johnson Road and County Line Road between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on school days.
