§ 38-19. Local sales tax adopted.

  • (a)

    A local sales tax of one percent was duly adopted by the voters of the city as the result of an election held on September 27, 1967, under the Local Sales and Use Tax Act.

    (b)

    An economic development corporation sales tax of one half of one percent was duly adopted by the voters of the city as the result of an election held on May 5, 1990, under the Local Sales and Use Tax Act.
