§ 16-145. Premises, materials, tools and drilling equipment.

(a)

The premises, materials, tools and drilling equipment shall be maintained so as to minimize contamination of the underground water, and to minimize noise levels during the drilling operation. The director of utilities may set the working hours in which the drilling operations may occur.

(b)

The slush pit shall be constructed, maintained and removed so as to minimize contamination of drilling mud and surrounding soil.

(c)

Temporary toilet facilities for drilling employees must be provided. No temporary toilet facilities shall be maintained within 150 feet of a well being constructed unless they are of a sealed, leakproof type.
